Pacifica High’s boys basketball team jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 65-42 win over La Quinta, in the second round of the Los Amigos Tournament, Tuesday at Pacifica High.
Andrew Brown led the Mariners (2-1) with 22 points and Tyler Fabisiak had 14 to lead the Mariners. Paulo Zubillaga had 12 points and Joshua Handley chipped in 9. La Quinta had 11 points from Michael Nadeau in the loss.
Pacifica will face Sage Hill in Friday’s semifinal game at 7:30 p.m. at Los Amigos High.
Garden Grove won its second round game, 70-45, over Century High. Sebastian Castro had 25 points to lead the Argonauts. Garden Grove will face Bellflower at 6 p.m. on Friday at Los Amigos High.
