Ocean View High’s senior Jason St. Pierre and junior Miguel Flores finished 71^st and 72^nd overall in the Boys Senior/Invitational Division of the Dana Hills Invitational cross country event on Sept. 22 at Dana Hills High. St. Pierre ran the three mile course in 15:50.7, while Flores ran it in 15:51.3.

Edwin Montes was the 8^th overall finisher in the Division 3 senior boys event, with a time of 16:53.5. Isaac Lopez was the 27^th overall finisher in the D3 senior boys event with a time of 17:52.5.

Ocean View’s sophomore boys team took third in the team scoring, led by Parker Walpole, who was second overall with a time of 16:41.0. Michael Hernandez was 7^th overall with a time of 17:03.5. Jeremy Roe was 61^st overall at 18:50.1.

Joshua King finished 12^th overall in the Division 3 junior division race, with a time of 16:54.6. Ocean View did not have enough runners in the event to post a team score.

Adrian Ramirez was the top finisher in the Division 3 boys freshman race with a time of 16:33.2. Ocean View finished fourth in team scoring with three runners in the top 40. Brandon Gayler was 14^th overall in 18:16.6 and Zane Hutchinson was 38^th overall in 19:29.6. Ryan Carles was 15^th overall with a time of 17:29.5.

Ocean View boys are ranked No. 10 in this week’s CIF-SS Division 4 poll. They are one of only two OC teams in the rankings, with Laguna Beach at No. 1.

Adriana Gil was the No. 2 overall finisher in the Division 3 junior/senior girls event with a time of 19:07.6. Adriana Flores was the 23^rd overall finisher in the Division 3 Junior/Senior event, with a time of 21:00.6.

Isabella Brannon led the Ocean View High girls to a third place finish in the Division 3 frosh/soph division of the Dana Hills Invitational. Brannon finished the three-mile course in 19:36.3 and finished 10^th overall.

Natalie Miller was 14^th overall with a time of 19:48.1. Elizabeth King was 32^nd overall with a time of 20:56.5. Isabella Kolstad-Khan was 35^th overall in 21:18.7.
